Welcome to the Sequoia Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club (SDC). The Sequoia Chapter covers Northern and Central California and meets regularly in the
greater San Francisco Bay area. The purpose
of the Chapter, and the SDC, is to honor the Studebaker automobile and all of the Studebaker-related products. The Sequoia Chapter sponsors many local events of interest to Studebaker owners.
The Sequoia Chapter was organized at the home of M. M. "Bart" Bartholomew in March 1968 in Castro Valley, California, by Fred K. Fox and received a chapter charter in September 1968. The chapter name originated from the great redwoods which grace the mountains of Northern California. The Sequoia Chapter motto is Studebakers Forever. This was originated by Jim Holsonbake in 1969 and became the official Chapter motto in May 1970. The Chapter logo was designed by Marc D'Estout and was adopted on November 17, 2007. Upcoming
